HVAC System Installers at TOPS Staffing

TOPS has partnered with a local heating & cooling company to find several HVAC Technicians to add to their growing field installation teams.

These positions will involve working as a part of a field installation crew. All install work will be done in new construction residential homes, most work is performed in homes being built by two of Pittsburgh’s largest home builders.  If you have a strong mechanical aptitude and are looking for a chance to learn a trade on the job, we are interested in speaking with you.
 

Job Details:

90 day contract-to-hire position.
Hours: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday.
$18 - $22 an hour based on experience starting off. 
Upon being hired, client offers complete health and life insurance packages, a 401K matching program, and 2 weeks paid vacation after one year.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Installation of heating and cooling devices in new homes
• Ability to be trained on the job
• Must be ok working from heights, most homes are two to three floors.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from job site.
• Must be able to read a tape measure accurately
• Must have working knowledge of various hand and power tools used on the job this includes drills, circular saw, Reciprocating saw, tin snips, screw drivers, hammers, and many more.

Education and Experience:

• Trade/Technical school degree preferred, recent grads with construction experience but not required.  If you have the ability and the drive to learn we will train you on the job.
• HVAC experience considered a plus but not required
• Handyman or any construction/ job site experience will qualify.
