The Contractor Consultants is actively seeking a highly skilled HVAC/R Technician to join our team, specializing in commercial, industrial, and government/federal HVAC and refrigeration systems. As a critical member of our service team, you will handle the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. - Perform installation, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Conduct routine and preventative maintenance on a variety of HVAC equipment, including boilers, burners, chillers, and refrigeration units.
- Diagnose and resolve system issues to ensure efficient, safe, and reliable operation.
- Adhere to company standards and federal, state, and local codes, ensuring all work complies with safety protocols and EPA regulations.
- Maintain documentation of service calls, repairs, and installations for client and company records.
- Collaborate with team members and project managers to meet project specifications and deadlines.
- Use company-provided tech packages (smartphone or tablet) for efficient workflow management and documentation.
- Experience Required: Proven expertise in commercial and industrial HVAC/R systems, with the ability to handle complex repairs and installations.
- Certification: EPA Certificate required.
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills, with a focus on accuracy and detail.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and equipment manuals.
- Comfortable working independently or as part of a team, with excellent time management skills.
- Strong understanding of OSHA, fall protection, and safety protocols; additional manufacturer and technical training is a plus.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
