Are you a dynamic, goal-oriented individual with a passion for the HVAC industry and a knack for sales? We are seeking an experienced HVAC Account Manager to join our thriving construction company. This permanent, full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to manage and grow a portfolio of accounts, drive sales, and contribute to the success of our business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC, coupled with a proven track record in B2B sales, territory sales, and account management.
Responsibilities:
As an HVAC Account Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing a portfolio of assigned customers, developing new business from existing clients, and actively seeking new sales opportunities.
2. Conducting research to identify potential prospects and markets, and developing strategies to tap into these opportunities.
3. Preparing and delivering sales presentations tailored to the client's needs, ensuring a clear understanding of our products and services.
4. Negotiating contracts and closing agreements, working closely with internal teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions.
5. Participating in the bidding and estimating process, providing accurate and competitive pricing to prospective clients.
6. Conducting regular cold calls to generate leads and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
7. Developing and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships by providing superior customer service and professional after-sales support.
8. Meeting and exceeding sales targets and performance metrics.
9. Keeping abreast of industry trends, market activities, and competitors to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the HVAC Account Manager position, candidates must have:
1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the HVAC or construction industry.
2. Proven sales experience, meeting or exceeding targets.
3. Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
4. Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
5. Strong business sense and industry expertise.
6. Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
7. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
8. Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
9. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
10. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
