The HR Business Systems Analyst will report to the VP of Total Rewards and HR Systems and Operations and support the effective use of all HR systems and processes by employees, managers, and HR Support teams. This role will help identify, develop, implement, and evaluate key HR solutions. The candidate will help maximize the capabilities available within Ceridian Dayforce. They will support operational excellence and employee development. The ideal candidate will be able to partner with the other HR team members, and business leaders to build a world class HRIS systems, maintain an HR Technology roadmap, and support training that optimizes operational effectiveness and HR business support. The business systems analyst acts as the liaison between HR/Business needs and Vendor or IT department solutions; completes business cases in support of projects; participates in or facilitates business process modeling and research efforts. This role is eligible for remote-based work.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Strategy: In Partnership with HR Leaders, execute the HR systems strategy which supports core HR practices and extends to targeted areas of attraction, retention, development, engagement, and succession.
- Process Improvement: Align and continuously evolve HR Operations and HRIS systems and processes with Human Resource Management leading practices.
- Program and Project Management: Demonstrate Program and Project Management skills in the execution of implementations and program administration including preparing executing on change management and communication plans.
- Business Analysis: Gather stakeholder/end user requirements by studying business functions; analyzing business systems requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities.
- Consulting: Partner with HR, IT, and business leaders to identify, develop, and implement process and/or system solutions or business analytics.
- Service Delivery: Create, monitor, and assess vendor and systems service levels to ensure agreed upon standards and deliverables are met or exceeded. Manage vendors and renewal negotiations, present proposed changes, and cost to Leadership.
OTHER FUNCTIONS
- Acts as primary contact for all HR application systems problems. Analyzes and documents problem, recommends solution, initiates corrective actions. Leverage third party vendor support for ticket management and resolution.
- Monitors user proficiency in HRIS applications and provides on-going support for training.
- Ensures that users are kept informed of all system updates; and updates are fully tested before moving to the Production Environment. The process docs are updated to reflect any resulting changes in systems, departmental procedures, or policies.
- Coordinates application enhancements to existing computer systems: including analysis, design specifications and liaison between vendors and clients. Appropriate cost-benefit analysis is conducted on enhancements or modifications. Adheres to home and client department polices on information security and confidentiality.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years’ experience in HR system and business analytics with broad knowledge of HR Operations and Systems
- 5+ years’ experience in Ceridian Dayforce configuration and implementation
- Bachelor's Degree required with an emphasis in Human Resources, Mathematics, Analytics, Computer Science or Finance
- Ability to provide leadership, work collaboratively on teams, and consult effectively and independently with all levels and functional areas of an organization.

COMPENSATION
- Hiring Salary Range Posted: $124,600 - $186,900.
- Actual compensation will be based on factors such as experience; skills, knowledge, and abilities; education; and other position related factors.
