Vaco Staffing is searching for a HRIS analyst for a Direct Hire role with a large medical organization in Jacksonville.
As an HRIS Analyst you will have ongoing opportunities to make a difference and leverage your talents in support of business outcomes by driving user adoption, creating operational efficiencies, supporting data informed people decisions, and providing stronger employee experiences. Your expertise will provide the skills necessary to ensure the organization’s HR system is utilized to make better decisions, unburden management of time-consuming tasks, support predictive analytics and enable syncing of people and business strategies. Simply put, an instrument that makes work life better.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Implementation support and post-implementation optimization activities
- Ongoing system administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Continuous system enhancements to deliver stronger user experiences including, but not limited to, configuration and testing of workflows, forms, templates, org structure changes, table updates, security roles, self-service features and custom reports.
- Facilitate regular meetings with primary stakeholders and others to continuously identify new needs and opportunities for additional efficiencies and useful enhancements.
- Establish, coordinate and enforce strict change control policies
- Coordinate appropriate integration, configuration, and testing before making changes to the live production environment.
- Drive strategies to increase user adoption with new and existing employee; leverage traffic analytics (among others) to measure/monitor strategy effectiveness
- Assimilate updates into the production environment through the change control process, if added value is identified.
- Ensure HRIS landing page content remains current, relevant, engaging, and targeted by type of end user
- Develop, maintain, and administer user training programs for new and existing employees
- Provide user support, acting as the HRIS “help desk”
- Develop a schedule of regular system audits; coordinate execution with the SME’s and maintain relevant supporting documentation
- Prepare the organization for all software updates and new releases
- Coordinate communications related to updates, new features, “coming soon” items, etc.
- Monitor community environment for new functionality and roadmap items
- Actively lobby support and advocate for new functionality and roadmap items with Dayforce that are needed by the organization
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Demonstrated proficiency with the Dayforce™ HRIS platform
- Microsoft Office 365
Highly Preferred:
- Microsoft Power BI dashboard set up and configuration
- Ability to perform basic to intermediate database queries using SQL Server
- Intermediate ability to create forms using XML
Preferred:
- Workday™ HRIS platform experience

Required:
- Demonstrable success at effectively translating business requirements into HRIS solutions
- Proved record of empathetically listening and filtering through multiple perspectives to uncover the root of a business problem while instilling confidence in others that their needs are understood and that an effective HRIS solution can be demonstrated.
Required Licenses/Certifications
Relevant certification in Information Systems, Human Resources and/or HR Information Systems desired.
Education/Experience
Any combination of education and experience that would provide required skills and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business or related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 5+ years’ experience configuring, administering and maintaining complex HR information systems
- Experience coordinating and driving HRIS implementations including data reconciliation and migration from legacy systems, vendor template completion, requirements gathering and others.
- Other direct or indirect Human Resources experience is a plus
