Position: HR/Security Loss Prevention Officer
Pay Rate: $23 per hour

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive HR/Security Loss Prevention Officer to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and security of our premises while supporting our HR department in maintaining a positive and compliant workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Security and Loss Prevention:
- Monitor and patrol premises regularly to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure the security of doors, windows, and gates.
- Investigate disturbances and respond to alarms and security breaches.
- Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, damage, or other incidents.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- HR Support:
- Assist HR in conducting background checks and screenings for new employees.
- Support the HR department in ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal regulations.
- Assist in the investigation of employee misconduct, workplace incidents, and violations of company policy.
- Participate in employee training programs related to security, safety, and loss prevention.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of security incidents, investigations, and actions taken.
- Prepare and submit reports on security status, incidents, and recommendations to management.
- Ensure proper documentation and handling of evidence related to security breaches and incidents.
- Guest Service:
- Provide assistance and support to employees and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Address and resolve security-related inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Maintain a visible and approachable presence to deter potential security threats and provide a sense of safety.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in security, law enforcement, or HR is a plus.
- PS-1 (Licensure or Certification of Private Security Services)
- Proven experience in security, loss prevention, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of security protocols, procedures, and best practices.
- Excellent observational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in using security systems, surveillance equipment, and computer software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
