What You Will Be Doing:
- Lead all employee relations initiatives ensuring balanced advocacy for the needs of the organization and the needs of the employees while ensuring adherence to all policies.
- Lead and implement effective talent acquisition strategies by managing the needs analysis process and developing sourcing strategies based on position descriptions, screening and recommending qualified candidates, managing the interviewing process, advising hiring managers on candidate selection, developing job offers.
- Lead onboarding efforts and creative a positive employee engagement experience.
- Partner with management to improve employee engagement and productivity through training and development, performance management, and positive employee relations.
- Provide hands-on support to employees and managers to better understand people and human resources processes, policies, and standard operating procedures to maximize organizational effectiveness and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with management to understand the business strategies, goals, objectives, and financial performance of the organization; build ongoing relationships with organization leaders and managers.
Your Background:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in progressive human resources roles with a bachelor’s degree required; equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be substituted.
- Specific prior experience with leading employee relations or managing a queue of open positions in talent acquisition required.
- Prior experience in social work, healthcare, residential setting or passion and appreciation for the space preferred.
- Technologically savvy with advanced Microsoft Office skills and ability to quickly learn new software.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to assess and make recommendations for process management improvements.
- PHR/SPHR and/or SHRM-CP/SHRP-SCP certification and experience in a union environment a plus.
- Valid driver’s license to be on-site across our three locations as needed.
