About the Job
We need minimum of 8 years – performance review management, payroll processing, employment laws, operations strategy, EOC claims, leaves, employee relations (complex situations), extensive termination experience etc.
Growing corporation seeks HR Manager to join their team. This role is 100% on site.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Create and maintain HR policies and procedures.
- Enforce employee policies and procedures.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
- Managing employee relations.
- Responsible for running payroll semimonthly and creating reports.
- Serve as ADP Workforce administrator.
- Responsible for benefits renewal and evaluation.
- Responsible for benefits administration for the employee base.
- Help employees understand benefits, policies, and any questions they may have.
- Oversees and handles employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations in accordance with company policy.
- Engage internally in the recruiting process.
- Manage employee training requirements.
- Manage the employee education committee.
- Manage the annual review process.
- Train executives on the review process and assist as necessary.
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
- Coordinate and monitor corporate events and meetings.
- Nurture a positive working environment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of human resources experience is required.
- Degree in Human Resources or related field required.
- PHR/SPHR certification preferred but not required.
- Experience with ADP HR system required.
- Expert in de-escalation
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- People oriented and results driven.
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
- Excellent active listening and presentation skills
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
