Project
- The Business HR Specialist plays a crucial role in aligning human resources strategies with the business objectives of an organization. Assists by executing the BHR team and Procurement leadership team with recommendations to resolve strategically important people related matters related to the business segment.
- Partners with BHR Manager and Director to ensure the effective delivery of all HR programs and services. Responsible for HR results in the business, including client satisfaction, HR effectiveness and associated financial results.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret HR data to support decision-making. Runs detailed reports including performance management tracking, metrics, human capital data, scorecards, etc.
- Maintains strong relationships with key HR partners from all Practice Areas to ensure elements of HR are successfully coordinated to meet business needs
- Leverages and interprets data to drive organizational decisions and outcomes. Must be able to understand and utilize historical and broad organizational data when weighing business HR decisions and actions. Able to understand all the options available and the potential impact of those options across the respective business units
- Assists in creation and delivery of ad hoc programs related to Procurement Transformation
- Supports HR projects and initiatives as needed including, early career program development, and pull through, employee engagement follow up, initiatives related to OUS follow up, etc., pull through on external partnership initiatives and culture
Experience
- Bachelor s degree. Strong verbal, written and presentation skills. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment
- 5 years+ Human Resources experience
- Must have moderate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications : Outlook, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of business and HR principles and practices gained through multiple business cycles in HR.
- Understands the regulations and policies affecting HR and the business.
- Learns fast, grasps the 'essence' and can change the course quickly where indicated.
- Raises the bar and is never satisfied with the status quo.
