Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Generalist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment and excel in employee relations, benefits administration, training, recruitment, and payroll processing. This cross-functional role will be instrumental in driving a positive work culture, fostering employee engagement, and supporting operational goals through strategic HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employee relations issues.
- Investigate and resolve employee concerns to maintain a productive and respectful workplace environment.
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and offers.
- Develop and lead comprehensive onboarding and training programs to ensure new hire success.
Training & Development:
- Identify training needs and design programs to enhance employee skills and support career development.
- Conduct leadership and compliance training sessions for managers and staff.
Benefits Administration:
- Coordinate employee benefit programs, including health, dental, 401(k), and other voluntary benefits.
- Support employees with benefit enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
Performance Management:
- Oversee performance review cycles and assist managers in addressing performance issues.
- Support the development and implementation of performance improvement plans.
Payroll Processing:
- Process payroll accurately and timely while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Maintain payroll records and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain and update HRIS systems and generate reports as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- 3-5 years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to lead training programs and coach employees at all levels.
- Strong understanding of employment laws, benefit administration, and payroll processing.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- SHRM or PHR certification.
- Experience with continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing setting.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
Salary
50,000 - 65,000 /year
