HR Generalist at Creative Financial Staffing

Position: HR Generalist

Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Schedule: M-F 8a-5p on site

Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and manage HR policies and procedures
• Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, and conducting interviews
• Assist with onboarding new employees and conducting orientation sessions
• Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
• Handle employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
• Support performance management processes and employee development programs
• Coordinate benefits administration and assist employees with benefit inquiries
• Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve workplace culture and efficiency

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role
• Strong understanding of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
