Ultimate Staffing is seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Generalist to join our client's team. The HR Generalist will play a key role in managing daily human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and HR policy implementation. This position is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented individual passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring smooth HR operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and offer negotiations.
- Facilitate onboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires, including orientation and benefits enrollment.
Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, addressing issues with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Support conflict resolution and foster a positive work environment through proactive communication and engagement strategies.
Benefits Administration:
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
- Provide guidance to employees on benefit options and troubleshoot related inquiries.
Compliance & Policy Management:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures in alignment with company goals and legal requirements.
Performance Management:
- Assist managers in conducting performance evaluations, setting goals, and implementing improvement plans.
- Support professional development initiatives and employee training programs.
HR Administration:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
- Prepare and analyze HR reports, providing insights to management on trends and metrics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar HR role.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- Able for light travel in the Baltimore area and to visit locations in other states
