SUMMARY
Our client is a Federally Funded Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with locations in Wilmington and Claymont Delaware. They provide affordable access to integrated health care services for the entire family. Services include general family practice, women’s health, dental and behavioral health care services.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The following is illustrative and not all inclusive:
Talent acquisition, sourcing, applicant tracking, onboarding and orientation.
Maintain accurate employee records and gather all related documentation and key details.
Human resources generalist duties and support.
Assist with audits, compliance reviews and other mandatory reports.
Works under immediate supervision
Reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer
Other duties as assigned.
PERFORMANCE CRITERIA
Cordial and professional demeanor in dealing with staff, patients and visitors.
Refrains from transmitting any personal information (health related or otherwise) on any patient or employee.
Answer telephone promptly and in a polite and professional manner.
Telephones are answered by stating who you are and asking "How can I help you?” no later than the third ring. Messages are given to the provider staff in accordance with the procedure requested by that provider. Voicemail is checked hourly.
Performs any legitimate task not otherwise listed in this job description when requested to do so by the DOC, Chief Medical Officer, Chief Executive Officer or any other member of the senior leadership team.
Schedule appointments correctly, review appointment date, time, and location with the caller.
QUALIFICATIONS
B.A. Degree in Human Resources or a closely related field preferred; or any combination of experience, education or training that would provide the level of knowledge, skill and ability required.
Experience working for a human services organization.
Knowledge of and/or ability to learn employment laws and regulations.
Highly organized and detail oriented.
Able to provide references
Willingness to undergo a background check & drug screen
Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
3-5 years’ experience in a clinical or community resource setting preferred
Dedicated, passionate attitude from someone wanting to make a difference in their job
WORKING CONDITIONS
This is an hourly position and the incumbent is regularly scheduled to work forty (40) hours per week, distributed over the medical center’s usual hours of operation.
