In September 2024, maximus will deliver the FAS contract in Lot 1 (North of England) and deliver WCA and SB in Lot 2 as sub contractor to Capita.
The role will work closely with the Business Change Director and Head of HR to understand, impact lead and manage all people related change required to implement the appropriate structures.
They will work closely with HR leadership team, HR Operations team, cross functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful planning and execution of organisational change.
The success criteria will include implementing the correct structures to deliver the contract within the timescale identified, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities so the project is delivered on time, through an engaging approach with any risks mitigated.
The role will work closely with the operational HR team to identify requirements and lead the delivery of change activities to ensure the management of the FAS contract are of the correct calibre and have the right development to succeed as a Maximus manager.
The post holder needs to have managed large-scale change, is able to influence senior stakeholders, demonstrate accountability.

Salary - £68,000 - £73,000
Due to the delivery area of the service, candidates need to be based in the North of England or Scotland.
• Understand the future operating models and current structures and develop a people transition plan to deliver the structures required
• Plan, lead and deliver all change activity in conjunction with the relevant business lead, providing regular updates to key stakeholders. Developing clear processes, systems, tracking. Identifying potential risks, mitigating against those and minimising disruption as the change programme is delivered
• Support in the sign off process of job descriptions, and lead on the coordination of the sign off process of benchmarking, role approval, recruitment planning, so there is one plan with key dates and updates that can be referenced
• Develop clear selection criteria for roles and ensure the recruitment for the new structure is in line with our policies, and appointing the right candidate for the role
• Develop and deliver effective communication plans, ensuring key messages are delivered to the right audiences by the right people at the right time. Ensuring all announcements for the change along with all letters and correspondence to support the consultations are developed and delivered with all relevant documentation being stored in individual records
• Lead and coordinate consultation approach and hold meetings with recognised Trade Unions and Employee representatives along with impacted colleagues
• Provide regular updates in line with the governance framework to key stakeholders including (but not limited to) SLT, HR Leadership team, Change team
• Ensure all areas of HR are updated and able to implement the change through correct system structure
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
• Extensive generalist HR and change management experience
• Extensive large scale TUPE Experience
• Proven track record in strong project Management experience
• Excellent working knowledge of employment legislation
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications and HR Systems
• Strong analytical skills - ability to analyse and interpret data
• Experience of working in a bid environment, incl. preparing bid responses, participating in customer dialogue, leading a workstream
• Experience of leading on a significant change programme
