StandardAero has an exciting opportunity for an HR Administrator to join one of the largest independent aviation service businesses in the world. StandardAero is a leading provider of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services including engine repair and overhaul, component repair and overhaul, airframe repair, overhaul and paint, engine component repair and overhaul, avionics upgrades, engineering services and interior completions.
Reporting directly to Sr. Human Resources Manager, the HR Administrator will provide a HR service in a timely manner that allows the business to continue to function efficiently, supporting the local HR team. This role is based within the HR team and will be expected to provide cover for planned absence within the team and provide support on existing and emerging project work.
As the HR Administrator you will handle confidential information, be highly organized, have exceptional attention to detail and will thrive in a full administrative and process centric role where the ability to prioritize is a must. The successful candidate will communicate with a diverse range of people, both written and verbally, so accuracy, strong customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.
What you’ll do:
- General administration of confidential and highly sensitive information
- Perform transactions in the HRIS
- Arranges travel logistics for prospective candidates, VP/GM, and HR.
- Schedules/Supports meetings, conferences, training, luncheons, and other large events.
- Responds to or directs incoming telephone calls.
- Composes, formats, and types letters, reports, presentations, meeting minutes, etc.
- Creates and maintains accurate and organized records and files.
- Responsible for knowing, understanding, following, and promoting company policies and procedures.
- Monitors candidates through an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) by reviewing resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements
- May perform other administrative duties as required by the facility.
- Works within the StandardAero behavioral model and displays professionalism
- Works with total discretion and maintains confidentiality
- Able to work as a team player and ability to use own initiative
- Self-motivated, demonstrates ownership and accountability for tasking, and is flexible and adaptable towards the needs of the role
- Able to balance competing priorities of self and others to ensure deadlines are met, whilst understanding the needs, timescales and deadlines of others, enabling the delivery of customer service
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Ability to work at pace, plan own work, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Ensures that high standards of accuracy are maintained at all times
Position Requirements:
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Essential to have previously worked in a highly sensitive and confidential environment, for example as HR or an Executive Assistant.
- Experience of administration roles in fast-pace high profile business support environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient skill in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Skill must include some analytical ability in Excel (beyond data entry) and presentation creation (beyond editing content) in PowerPoint.
- Experience booking complex travel arrangements with frequent changes. Keen attention to details and traveler’s needs.
- Ability to build relationships with all levels of leadership, employees, customers and vendors.
- Essential to have previously worked in a highly sensitive and confidential environment, for example as HR or an Executive Assistant.
- Demonstrated proficiency in organization, planning, and follow-through of assigned tasks.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders/tasks.
- Ability to use a keyboard and perform routine tasks for prolonged periods of time during the workday.
- Ability to work overtime and flexibility with time to be accessible to the site leadership team.
Preferred Characteristics:
- Knowledge of employment laws preferred.
