Your Role
As a human resource administrative assistant, you will perform various human resources-related administrative tasks. Our HR administrative assistant position requires finely honed time management and organizational skills and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Update HR databases (new hires' data, employee changes, etc.).
- Maintain confidential records (soft and hard copies).
- Assist with onboarding field new hires, including reviewing and verifying required employment-related documents.
- Assist with employment verifications and respond to inquiries.
- Collect and compile data; prepare HR-related reports as needed.
- Assist with the general preparation, deployment, signature completion, and organization of internal company documents, policies, and acknowledgments.
- Assist with internal audits.
- Coordinate HR projects, meetings, and events
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Two years of related work experience; human resources experience is helpful
- Ability to work on-site; this is not a remote position.
- Eligibility to work in the United States, full-time (Monday-Friday) with overtime as necessary.
- Effective verbal and interpersonal communication skills; ability to discreetly handle sensitive, confidential, and time-sensitive duties while maintaining a solid customer service orientation.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and take initiative on a variety of tasks and projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HR software a plus!
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT NECESSARY:
- Associate's degree or higher (equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered).
- Experience with HR software is a plus!
SCHEDULE:
- Part-time – 24 – 30 hours per week, additional hours may be required as needed.
- Monday-Wednesday; Flexible
A reasonable base compensation estimate for this position is $23 -$25 per hour.
Individual pay within this compensation range may span multiple levels within the role and is determined by assessing job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. It also factors in market demands and business needs. The disclosed range may be subject to change or modification based on business needs in the future.
