Overview
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for accurate and timely preparation and completion of business licenses. This involves the preparation of tax workpapers and the preparation of business license returns. Additional responsibilities include updating business license SharePoint site with updated license copies.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- Accurately prepare and timely file business license applications and renewals
- Create/revise efficiencies to improve the business license process
- Responds to and resolves internal inquiries
- Responds to and resolves tax jurisdiction notices and/or inquiries
- Work with OPCO partners to provide business license documentation when needed
- As needed, accurately prepare and timely file sales and use tax.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Education and/or Experience:- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
Skills/Abilities:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Word
- PeopleSoft knowledge a plus
- Must be detail oriented, organized and a quick learner
