Job Summary:
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible both cleaning and inspecting hotel guestrooms to ensure high levels of guest service and satisfaction. Includes guestrooms, closets, hallways, public spaces and interior/exterior of hotel property.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide professional and courteous guest service at all times
- Enforce hotel and department procedures
- Ensures quality services and enhanced guest relations when meeting guest needs
- Maintains room quality to hotel standards
- Monitors and maintains a high level of cleanliness throughout the hotel.
- Maintains productivity and labor cost goals.
- Checks all vacant and clean rooms, public space, storage areas and housekeeping carts daily.
- Inspects all checkout rooms
- Provides professional and courteous service at all times.
- Conduct weekly supplies inventory
- Conducts monthly linen inventory
Additional Duties:
- Attends morning stand up meetings
- Prepares daily assignment sheets for housekeeping associates
- Reports accurate status of guestrooms to front office
- Operates by standard procedures for the acceptance, security and return of guest lost and found
- Maintains department key control
- Maintains deep cleaning program
- Acts as manager on duty when scheduled
- Completes projects as determined by management
- Actively seeks out other tasks when current work is completed.

- Quality: Work “ product or service” is free of errors and exceeds customer expectations.
Physical Requirements:
- Requires walking and standing to a significant degree, reaching, climbing, balancing, kneeling , crouching, crawling, stooping, handling and seeing.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and / or carrying or transporting of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Inside environmental conditions protected from weather conditions. Potential exposure to paint, solvents, cleaning chemicals and / or fumes
