Out of School Time (OST ECS) program at Episcopal Community Services is currently looking for Group Supervisors to assist with leading its Out of School Time Programs at Feltonville Intermediate School. ECS OST provides a safe and nurturing environment, enrichment activities, academic assistance, field trips, service learning, physical activity, and nutritious snacks and meals in order to support children’s development and reinforce academic skills. SDP classroom curricula in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (known as STEAM) are reinforced through project-based learning and the contracting of expert consultants. JOB SUMMARY
The Group Supervisor certifies that appropriate projects and programs are developed and executed to utilize resources by following policies and procedures that meet the expectations of the contract's Key Performance Indicators. The supervisor coordinates with the Site Director on project-based learning.
POSITON HOURS: Monday–Friday 12 pm-6 pm (30 hours weekly)
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the Site Director in coordinating, creating, facilitating, and supporting the Project Learning, Literacy, Career Awareness, and SEL approach to complement the preexisting curriculum that aligns with PA Common Core Standards.
- Ensure best practice standards are incorporated into the curriculum for youth.
- Assist the Site Director in facilitating partnerships with appropriate public and private agencies that provide services to students and families.
- Assist the Site Director in establishing and maintaining communication with school personnel and parents about students’ and social-emotional learning needs.
- Provide Program Support at the site in areas of active supervision of youth.
- Assist the Site Director in coordinating Project Based Learning, Literacy, Career Awareness, and social-emotional learning activities for the OST youth curriculum.
- Ensure appropriate projects and programs are developed and executed that utilize resources, follow policy and procedures, and meet the expectation of Key Performance Indicators for the contract.
- Assist in developing opportunities for students to experience academic enrichment in different ways and modes.
- Assist the Site Director with community outreach, recruitment, and retention of children, youth, and adults to participate in all OST-related activities.
- Assist the Site Director in creating and facilitating professional development opportunities for 21st CCLC staff.
- Attend all grant management meetings and professional development as required
- Assist the Site Director in facilitating and maintaining a Community Advisory Board comprised of parents, students, staff, and school personnel.
- Assist in developing and managing employee work schedules.
- Promote the OST and youth Programs and activities at the school-based location.
- Provide programming for students after the conclusion of the academic day until 6 PM
Education and Experience
- Associates in Education are preferred, and they have three years of experience in related work.
- Experience teaching groups of youth in a classroom and classroom management skills.
- Knowledge of Child Educational Development.
- experience working with minority and underprivileged populations.
- Excellent computer skills (including but not limited to Microsoft Office suite, Adobe products, CRM/database, and project management software).
HOURS: Monday–Friday; 12 pm-6 pm (30 hours weekly), Regular Summer Hours and occasional weekends.

Starting rate of $19.50-$20.54 per hour, medical benefits with Meritain/Aetna, transportation/cellphone subsidy; 401(k) retirement plan; tuition reimbursement; student loan forgiveness; first time home owner assistance; and ability to accrue sick leave.
