Job Title: Graphic Designer / Production Artist – Large Format/Experiential

Location: Hybrid (Mundelein, IL)

Timing: Start next week or week of December 2nd

Duration: 2–3 months

Hours per Week: 20–40

Pay Range: $50-65/hour (depending on experience)

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Graphic Designer/Production Artist with expertise in large-format and experiential design. In this role, you will play a critical part in producing high-quality visual assets for impactful events and large-scale projects. The ideal candidate has a strong design eye, technical proficiency in production, and experience creating visuals tailored for immersive and experiential spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and produce large-format graphics for experiential and event environments, ensuring consistency and quality across all deliverables.
• Work collaboratively with the creative team, project managers, and external vendors to ensure all assets align with project specifications and creative objectives.
• Prepare files for print and production, ensuring accuracy in scaling, color, and format.
• Problem-solve production challenges, offering innovative solutions to achieve creative goals.
• Collaborate onsite as needed to oversee production quality and implementation.
• Maintain an organized workflow, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Graphic Designer or Production Artist, preferably in large-format or experiential design.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other relevant design tools.
• Strong understanding of production processes for large-format graphics, including printing and installation considerations.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle technical production tasks with precision.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
• Flexibility to work hybrid onsite and adapt to changing project needs.
• Availability for 20–40 hours per week over the duration of the contract.
