What's on offer
We are seeking a Graduate Data Integration Business Analyst to join us on a one-year graduate program based in our Berkeley Heights New Jersey Office, starting 8th July 2024. EquiLend Spire is a state of the art platform and technology driven hub for securities finance firms, featuring modules that cater to the specific client needs across the front, middle, and back office. Our product is used by many financial institutions in order to streamline their securities finance needs.
In this role you will be working on our EquiLend Spire product and client integrations and will work closely with senior BA's,development team, software testers, deployment and support teams on integration stories. You will be documenting detailed integration requirements for product implementations. Ideal candidates will bedetail oriented, precise, articulate and accurate.

Role responsibilities
- Develop detailed data mappings for the implementation of integrations between client systems and EquiLend Spire.
- Develop and manage stakeholder (internal and external) relationships ensuring a seamless product integration experience
- Capture, decompose, document and maintain business and functional specifications, process and system flows, and test plans ensuring stakeholder alignment at all times.
- Work with developers sharing functional specification detailed from high level requirements gathered from clients, with testers to clarify the specifications, validate the test plans and test results, self-validate the delivered product and with deployers to get this elevated to test environments and production.
- Communicate key project updates to stakeholders at all levels in a concise and timely manner
- Ensure integration and implementation of data into and from EquiLend Spire product.
- Design new UI features and reports for the EquiLend Spire product.
- Write user stories, participate in project/scrum calls and use tools such as Jira.
- Identify roadblocks on the pathway to completion and propose solutions and/or escalate.
Role requirements
We are seeking students expecting to graduate in Spring 2024 with a Bachelor's degree in Information Management or a related business field and a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
- A degree in a relevant or transferable subject, ideally around Information Management or Data.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.2 at the time of graduation.
- Practical experience with SQL is desired
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor your style to meet the needs of different audiences in a clear and concise manner.
- Technical and data aptitude with the ability to understand technical problems and find solutions
- Detail oriented and able to ensure high accuracy in your work.
- Able to demonstrate knowledge of Excel
- The ability to quickly build relationships with clients and internal teams
- Excellent analytical skills, along with strong written and verbal communication skills
- An aptitude for working with data and an understanding of how it can be used in decision making
