Job Purpose:
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of Federal Housing Administration (FHA), Veterans Affairs (VA), and United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) loans through comprehensive audits before submission to respective agencies. Verify loan insurability/guarantee by conducting pre-endorsement reviews in accordance with HUD guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loan Insurability: Verify all government loans meet the company's insurance or guarantee requirements.
- Documentation Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and investors to secure necessary and accurate loan documentation.
- File Management: Organize and maintain loan files according to agency standards.
- Collateral Requests: Facilitate the shipping of notes and collateral to investors as needed.
- Support Role: Assist the team as a Junior Post Closer, handling various tasks and requests.
Requirements:
- Software Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and navigating government websites (FHA, VA, USDA).
- Knowledge Base: Thorough understanding of FHA, VA, and USDA loan guidelines and regulations.
- Experience: Minimum 3-4 years in mortgage-related roles, with a focus on auditing or loan processing.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to build positive and productive professional relationships.
- Multitasking and Prioritization: Capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Proven track record of identifying and resolving issues efficiently.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized and proactive in managing responsibilities.
- Customer Service: Dedicated to delivering excellent customer service.
