About the Job
We are seeking a mid-level/senior-level associate for our Washington, D.C. office.
The ideal candidate will have 3 - 8 years (classes 2017 - 2022) of substantial government contracts experience. Experience in protests, investigations, and claims is required along with working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and Department of Energy Acquisition Regulation (DEAR). Candidates should also have experience counseling clients on government contracts laws and regulations, reviewing and negotiating subcontracts and teaming agreements, and litigating bid protests at the U.S. Government Accountability Office and/or U.S. Court of Federal Claims. Judicial clerkship for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit / the U.S. Court of Federal Claims is a plus.
Interested candidates must possess a high level of academic achievement, Am Law 100 firm experience, and superb writing and communication skills. Washington, D.C. Bar is required.
All candidates must be in the top 25% of their graduating class and graduated from one of the top 50 U.S. law schools. Candidates must have worked for a well-known law firm unless noted otherwise in the job description.
