General Manager Needed, Farm Equipment Manufacturer - Gpac

We are working with a farm equipment manufacturer in the Independence, Missouri area to help them find their next General Manager. This company has a strong presence in the agricultural manufacturing sector. It is a growing company that is well-respected. This position will be on-site / in-person.

We are specifically looking for an Assistant Manager / Operations Manager who is looking to advance their career.

The ideal candidate’s preferred background will be in farm equipment manufacturing. However, we will consider candidates with manufacturing experience of other durable goods type products.

General Manager Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Profit and loss statement experience.
• Budgeting experience.
• The ability to lead multiple people in a fast-paced production environment.
• Prior General Manager / Plant Manager experience required.

General Manager Responsibilities:

• Oversee all functions of a manufacturing plant – from production, to maintenance, to logistics.
• Handle employee scheduling and staffing.
• Work with HR and training departments to provide adequate staffing and training.
• Build effective teams.
