General Manager - EXOS

Exos is seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to lead our team in providing world-class performance training services to amateur and elite athletes at our facility in El Segundo, CA. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the facility, ensuring the highest levels of quality, customer service, performance, and business outcomes are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve the performance and business objectives of the Sports Performance facility.
2. Manage day-to-day operations of the facility, including scheduling, staffing, and budgeting.
3. Generate and grow all streams of facility revenue within Youth, High School, College, Adult, and Pro/Elite categories.
4. Seek out opportunities within the community to support local sports organizations, businesses, and other operations with performance services.
5. Participate in outreach activities to help create awareness of the Sports Performance facility with local residents.
6. Build strong relationships with clients and athletes, ensuring needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
7. Ensure the facility is fully equipped, organized, and operating at the highest standards.
8. Manage the recruitment, training, and development of staff, including performance evaluations and career development plans.
9. Develop and implement marketing and promotional campaigns to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
10. Collaborate with other professionals in the field, such as sports medicine physicians and therapists, to ensure the overall health and well-being of clients.
11. Other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in sports management, business administration, or a related field.
2. At least 3 years of experience in sports management, preferably in a leadership role.
3. Proven track record of successful business development, facility management, including financial management and staff development.
4. Experience working with CRM platforms such as MindBody and sales tools such as HubSpot.
5. Knowledge of sports performance training methodologies and techniques.
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
7. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
8. Ability to work collaboratively with others, including coaches, clients, and other professionals in the field.
9. Passion for sports and a commitment to excellence in sports performance training.

Residents of CA, CO, NY, WA, MD: Per pay transparency requirements, the compensation for this position ranges from $65,000/year to $85,000/year. Pay is dependent on factors including site location, specialty, certifications and work experience as well as other business needs. Exos offers a comprehensive benefits package for all full-time employees (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements), which includes health insurance, life and disability benefits, 401(k) plan, and paid time off. Additionally, Exos offers a variety of part-time benefits (subject to eligibility requirements).
