Job Title: General Accounting Manager
Key functions of this position are the development, analysis, and interpretation of statistical and accounting information in order to appraise operating results.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Own month end/year end close functions, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and reports in compliance with GAAP and corporate policies.
2. Track, record, audit, and report on Capex items, including additions, disposals, and depreciation.
3. Track, record, and report on prepaids and various accruals.
4. Assist with intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and reports.
5. Become a backup for various items, including daily sales reports, daily bank reconciliation, payroll processing, and sale tax filings
6. Support the external audit process with the Accounting Manager and CFO.
7. Support CFO with special projects as needed.

Education and Required Experience:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
2. Minimum of 3 – 5 years public accounting experience
3. Knowledge of US GAAP with financial statement preparation
4. Experience with large data sets, including ability to analyze and report to various levels of management strongly preferred.
5. Can work with a group through the monthly close and reporting process with various reporting deadlines.
6. Enthusiasm to take on responsibilities and continue to build and develop your own knowledge and skills.
7. Ability to multitask and prioritize.
8. Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
9. Desire to exceed expectations and have a flexible, can-do attitude
10. “Roll-up the sleeves” approach to accomplish all necessary tasks

12. Advanced MS Excel skills
13. Power BI skills a plus
