The Louis A Johnson Clarksburg VAMC is looking for a Gastroenterologist  to join our team. At the Clarksburg VA, our health care teams are deeply experienced and guided by the needs of veterans, their families, and caregivers.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Surgical procedures, with required expertise in all areas of Gastroenterology including:
- Proctoscopy and/or flexible sigmoidoscopy
- Diagnostic upper gastrointestinal endoscopy
- Esophageal dilation
- Colonoscopy, including biopsy and polypectomy
- Therapeutic upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy
- Percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy
- Administration of Moderate Sedation
- Supervision/teaching of surgical residents.
- Providing consultation in an outpatient clinic setting and on inpatient wards.
- Participation in committees.
 

Excellent work schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 A.M. - 4:00 P.M.; however, subject to change, depending on the needs of the service/medical center. On-call responsibilities as required.

Salary 250K-400K
