We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented, and motivated GIS Specialist to join our dynamic team in a full-time, on-site role based in Los Angeles, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to support complex infrastructure and aviation-related projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- GIS Data Management & Coordination:
- Prepare, manage, and coordinate GIS data to support the definition and planning of proposed projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Manage the quality and accuracy of GIS data for ongoing projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- CADD Standards & Compliance:
- Assist in developing and ensuring compliance with CADD standards related to GIS integration, ensuring that spatial data and project documentation are aligned for optimal usability.
- As-Built & O&M Data Delivery:
- Support the delivery and integration of As-Built and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) data during project closeout, ensuring data accuracy and proper documentation for future maintenance and operations.
- Collaboration & Support:
- Collaborate closely with project teams, including engineers, architects, and construction managers, to integrate GIS and related technologies into project workflows.
- Provide GIS technical support and expertise to team members and stakeholders, ensuring that data is utilized effectively and efficiently.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Computer Science, Urban Planning, or a related technical field.
- Certifications:
- GIS Certification (e.g., GISP or equivalent) is required.
- Experience:
- Experience managing GIS data in large infrastructure projects, preferably in the architecture, construction management, or aviation sectors.
- Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and its integration with GIS is highly desirable.
Compensation:
$72k-$113k
The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state’s law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
