Fund Controller - High Country: Private Equity Search

About the Job
Our client is one of Denver's largest and most sophisticated single family offices. Due to succession planning a new opportunity exists within the organization.
The platform has investments in a wide ranging and diverse portfolio and is looking for an investment professional to handle everything from the day-to-day reporting to the deal-by-deal analytics of these alternative investments. This position will be able to analyze new deals as they are presented, as well as support the daily accounting and tracking of the entire portfolio of alternative investments.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and track deal pipeline
- Manage investment documentation processes and procedures
- Assist with investment due diligence and analytics
- Prepare and submit deal execution documents
- Manage communications and relationships with investment managers, upper-level management, as well as the stakeholders
- Track investment performance in SEI Archway Platform
- Track and communicate calls/distributions with operations team. Assist with cash flow analysis
- Prepare/review daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to quantify the performance of the portfolio
- Research issues/questions by management
QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years of experience tracking and analyzing alternative investments
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
- Extensive organizational skills
- Ability to analyze and revise processes and procedures
- Basic understanding of tax concepts as they relate to alternative investments
- Immaculate attention to detail
- Exceptional communication skills
- Self-motivated, and self-driven
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, more specifically strong Excel skills
- Work in a small, and closely managed Investment Team
- CPA/CFA preferred
