Collaborative Efforts: Work closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families to guarantee the effective implementation of necessary accommodations and modifications.
Progress Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' educational requirements and monitor their progress over time.
Thorough Documentation: Maintain meticulous and up-to-date records documenting student progress and the services provided.
Requirements:
Educational Background: Possess a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field, demonstrating your commitment to academic excellence.
Licensing: Hold a valid Mississippi Teacher of the Visually Impaired License, showcasing your dedication to meeting state standards.
Relevant Experience: Bring prior experience working with students with visual impairments, particularly those requiring braille instruction.
Expertise: Demonstrate a solid understanding of current best practices in the field of visual impairment education.
