Full-Time Physician - State Veterans Nursing Home - HealthFirst Staffing

We are seeking a dedicated full-time physician to provide comprehensive medical care for residents at a State Veterans Nursing Home in Tradition, Mississippi.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide overall comprehensive medical care for nursing home residents
  

• Conduct daily visits (Monday - Friday) to examine and consult with patients
  

• Oversee and coordinate care with nursing staff and other healthcare providers
  

• Ensure compliance with U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and Mississippi State Department of Health standards
  

• Participate in care planning and quality improvement initiatives
  

• Maintain accurate and timely medical records
  

• Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants as needed
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• MD or DO degree with current Mississippi medical license
  

• Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics preferred
  

• Minimum 3 years of experience in geriatric or long-term care settings
  

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems
