NES Health seeks aFull-Time Emergency Medicine Physician to join our practice at Saint Michael’s Medical Center located in Newark, New Jersey. 

About the Hospital 

• 100 Bed Community Hospital 
• Teaching Hospital 
• EPIC EMR 

• Radiology during the day and telerad at night  
• Interventional Radiology  
• Psychiatry  
• Anesthesiology   
• Line Service  
• Ultrasound   
• GYN (no OB)  
• Hospitalist  
• ENT  
• Cardiology  
• Neurology (9-5 M-F, not on Weekends)  

About the Program and Hours 

• 29 Bed Emergency Department
• 38,000 Annual Visit ED 
• 15% admission rate from the ED 
• 12-hour Physician shifts: 7a-7p and 7p-7a Sun – Sat; plus 1p-9p Mon
• 12-hour APP shifts: 7a-7p and 10a-10p Sun – Sat; plus 3p-2a Mon-Fri

Qualifications 

• Active New Jersey license in the state or ability to attain unrestricted state license 
• Candidate Must be PA or FNP BE/BC  
• Active ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and/or PALS
