Job Type: Full-time, In person, Day shift, Monday to Friday
Position:
Play a crucial role in managing our financial records with precision and expertise. Oversee the full cycle of accounting duties, from payroll to financial reports, ensuring the financial health and transparency of our business operations. Work efficiently in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes including but not limited to: A/R, payroll, journal entries, and bank reconciliation.
- Manage the financing life cycle. Submitting credit applications, communicating status with internal staff and clients.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports to assist in managerial planning and decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Collaborate with the management team to implement and improve financial controls and processes.
- Monitor and manage cash flow to maintain the financial health of the company.
- Provide detailed analyses and explanations of all transactions, preparing detailed narratives when necessary.
- Work closely with external auditors during annual audits to ensure a smooth process.
- Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies for the set-up of the company's financials.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a full charge bookkeeper or similar role
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial principles.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks), MS Excel, and financial management.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and teamwork-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Experience in Construction Industry preferred

Compensation: This is an overtime-eligible hourly position compensating in a range between $25-$30 per hour based on a variety of factors.
