Midshift/Closing FOH Supervisor—Urgently Hiring!
Full-time
Starting at $18/hr.
At Chick-fil-A, Supervisors are responsible for assisting the management team in all aspects of shift management and ensuring that each restaurant guest has an outstanding experience. Supervisors are responsible for supervising assigned stations for an entire shift and may be assigned to open or close the restaurant in the absence of a manager; following established opening and closing procedures.
IMPORTANT DETAIL:
- Must be available to work on Saturday's. This position is not a M-F only job.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational excellence from 2pm-close: sales growth, productivity, inventory control, CFA Brand standards upheld, Vision and Culture.
- Responsible for CEM Scores from 2pm-close and sharing those results with the team (if applicable).
- Setting the tone for the rhythm and expectations for each shift.
- Ensures that Team Members follow recipes and read tickets to accurately prepare all orders.
- Plan effective shift operations using the Floor Plan document.
- Ensures that Team Members are extremely accurate with weights and measurements for all recipe items.
- Ensures that Team Members work at a pace to maintain the restaurant's established speed of service guidelines.
- Ensures that workstations are clean at all times.
- Ensures that cashiers follow cash handling procedures at all times.
- Executes proper security and cash handling and control procedures and holds cashiers accountable to adhering to policies and procedures.
- Ensures that Team Members monitor the dining room, restroom, parking lot and overall facility cleanliness.
- Addresses guest issues that may arise; consults with management regarding complex issues.
- Maintains a positive working relationship and treats all employees with respect while providing them with direction and feedback.
- Communicates employee performance and policy/procedure violations to management for appropriate handling.
- Strictly adheres to all Company policies and procedures.
- Delivering 2nd Mile Service and the 4 Core through being REMARKABLE and leading with care and accountability.
- Perform any of the tasks above as needed throughout the shift.
- Managing mobile order and 3rd-party services and ensuring these specific orders are executed with the same level of service expected from the restaurant.
Qualifications:
- Prior leadership experience is required
- Restaurant experience is preferred
- Customer service oriented
- Consistency and reliability
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented
- Able to multi-task
- Works well independently and in a team environment
- Be willing and able to work a flexible schedule
- Have the ability to lift and carry 5-50 lbs on a regular basis
- Have the ability to stand for long periods of time
