POSITION OVERVIEW:
Work alongside all team members to ensure that The Sorrel River Ranch product is delivered to the highest operational standards. Execute once-in-a-lifetime experiences for guests by anticipating guest needs, tailoring service to guest preferences, and exceeding expectations. Support the management in daily operations and leadership of the team. Support the business operations team by assisting with projects relating to the MEWS, Pxier, and Mind & Body for monthly inventories, team support and training on the systems. Support The Sorrel River Ranch operations by continuing to clarify The Sorrel River Ranch product, structure, standard operating procedures, and support other operations as necessary. Work to further The Sorrel River Ranch product by questioning operational norms, proposing solutions, and striving to innovate and streamline The Sorrel River Ranch operation.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise and assist team in all daily activities
- Display daily presence in desk and lobby as member of team
- Well versed in a variety of hotel technology systems, such as Opera, Mews, Toast POS
- Compile and prepare financial reports, including rate and availability calendar. Understand Mews.
- Check and control room reservations, front office systems, and supplies inventory, scheduling, forecasting and department budget to maximize revenue.
- Manage all revenue sources including night audit and report this information to the General Manager on a daily basis
- Conduct daily, weekly department meetings
- Conduct all departmental training
- Ability to work both independently, with minimal day-to-day supervision, and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Ability to plan, manage and complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.
- Accepting of diversity in culture, race, sexual orientation, religion, gender identity, and ethnicity.
- Manage all department personnel demonstrating high leadership skills, model behaviors, and exemplary actions.
- Manage and motivate all front office, reservations, all guest experiences and spa personnel with daily supervision to include staffing, training, discipline, scheduling and visually monitoring performance to ensure adherence to all service and productivity standards to provide guest satisfaction.
- Perform other duties as assigned
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE/OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED
- CPR/First Aid and TIPS Certified
- Minimum of 2 years of previous experience as a supervisor/ team leader in hospitality
- Extensive knowledge of Moab, Utah area
- Extensive understanding of Sorrel River Ranch activities and gear necessary
- Strong customer services skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Work well with a team with diverse personalities
- Thrive under pressure
- Enjoy working in a fast paced, demanding atmosphere
- Possess high ethical standards
- Willing to work to specifically meet guest needs – early mornings and later evenings as needed
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Familiarity with Apple products (computers, iPads, iPods, AppleTV)
- Knowledge and experience in MEWS and Toast
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ABILITY TO:
- Lift 50 pounds.
- Sit at a desk and type at a computer for extensive periods of time
- Stand for duration of the shift (8 hours )
- Occasionally withstand outside weather conditions (heat, rain, snow)
- Bend, stoop, kneel, and reach with hands and arms
- Express and exchange ideas by means of the spoken word accurately, loudly and quickly
- Perceive the nature of sounds at a normal speaking level and make fine discrimination in sound
- Visual acuity to determine accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned
- Withstand a moderate noise level
