Job Description - Night Auditor
About the hotel:
Your Responsibilities:
The Night Auditor position is an overnight position (11pm - 7am) and is responsible for balancing and auditing the accuracy of room revenue, food and beverage revenue, cashier's reports, guest and house accounts, and telephone revenue. This position will also assist with the preparation of all reports relevant to daily revenues. Duties include completing and transmitting accounting reports and supporting documents. The night auditor will act as the hotel system liaison during night hours, assist in booking room reservations, answering hotel phone calls, and notifying guests of messages.
Essential Qualifications:
We are looking for someone who:
- Greets and assists all guests during arrival and departure
- Provides courteous guest services by responding promptly and efficiently to inquiries, requests, and complaints
- Processes all reservations and cancellation requests in a timely manner by mail, telephone, fax, or in person
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and non-verbal
- Willing to go above and beyond for our guests and have a professional, positive attitude
- Phone and computer skills
- Ability to work overnight on a full-time basis
- Previous cash handling experience preferred
