About the Job
Join a large, growing international freight forwarding company, they are seeking for a Sales Director to lead their sales team. This role involves overseeing the sales department, developing strategies, and implementing effective tools to drive success. The Sales Director will focus on building and supporting a high-performing team, working closely with leadership including the CEO, and collaborating with Finance and Operations to enhance productivity through advanced tools, technologies, and processes.
Essential Responsibilities

Coordinate and deliver comprehensive sales analysis, reporting, and planning for overall sales, quotas, product volumes, and margins.

Prepare sales performance reports, monitor key performance indicators, and manage distribution of sales reports and data.

Lead and develop the Sales team, setting performance goals and managing results.

Oversee sales operations, including pipeline management, quota attainment, lead generation, and account assignments.

Train and support the sales team on applications, lead management, and reporting tools.

Develop and implement sales enablement programs, including training, trade conferences, and promotional activities.

Solicit, maintain, and grow client accounts to drive long-term business growth.

Lead efforts to promote the company's brand within the assigned area, with an emphasis on NVOCC, Airfreight, and Supply Chain/Logistics services.

Coordinate communications between their customers and internal teams, prepare meeting materials, and support rate quotes for external and internal stakeholders.

Manage customer on-boarding processes, including setup, SOP finalization, and invoicing.

Conduct telesales, qualify prospects, and schedule appointments to grow business opportunities.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).

5+ years in sales within Trans-Pacific Trade, NVOCC, Freight Forwarding, and Logistics.

5+ years of knowledge in NVOCC, Logistics, and Ocean/Sea Freight.

3-5 years managing and leading a sales team.

Proficient in Windows OS and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Strong sales methodology, strategic selling, and enablement skills.

Self-motivated, results-driven, with strong time management.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Knowledge of ocean shipment documentation and P&L management (a plus).

Team-oriented, positive, detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving.

Salary Range: $90,000 to $140,000 (Depends on Experience) + Sales Commission Program
