Wage Range: $71,550 - $114,450 per year. The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience, applicable education and internal equity.

JOB SUMMARY of ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Adheres to Hospital's Policies and Procedures and Philosophy of Care. Consistently exhibits professional conduct that is a behavior-based expression of the Hospital's Standards of Excellence and Code of Conduct principles. Works collaboratively with the Director of Operations and Emergency Preparedness to develop and implement strategies for successful initiatives including major gifts, grant writing, annual giving, and events. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the EvergreenHealth Monroe Foundation including internal accounting, board and volunteer committee management. Some local travel and evening and weekend hours may be required
REQUIRED EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE; CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE :
Requires three (3) years of progressive responsibilities in event fundraising, annual giving campaigns and non-profit operations. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others through content knowledge, personal credibility, style and facilitation. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with donors, board members, employees, management and the community. Ability to manage and execute a budget. Experience with soliciting donations from individuals and corporations. Experience with a fundraising team.
DESIRED for the position: Bachelor's degree. Working knowledge of Blackbaud Raiser's Edge Donor Management fundraising software or similar software. Fundraising education through interaction and involvement in professional fundraising groups. Experience with donor management or CRM software.
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT, SKILLS OR OTHER REQUIREMENTS :
Proficiency in reading, writing, comprehending and speaking English as required for business necessity. Accountability for HIPAA privacy and security standards as it relates to job duties and interactions. Must possess intermediate skills to use Microsoft Office, specialized software and electronic office equipment. Proficiency in using social media, email marketing and other sources to assist with our success. Recruits and manages the Small Grants Program Committee. Solicits funding proposals from staff and physicians, provides committee meeting support, and promotes funded projects with the objective of increasing support and participation
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND HAZARDS :
Adheres to all State and Federal regulations pertaining to hazardous waste, materials and BBP. Works in an office environment and operates computers, copy machines and other office equipment. Risk of exposure to communicable diseases.
WORK CONTACT GROUP:
Foundation Board of Directors, Executives, Directors, Managers, physicians, consultants, hospital staff, patients, families, volunteers, visitors, outside agencies, community groups, and the general public.
SUPERVISED BY :
Director, Operations and Emergency Preparedness
+ Working collaboratively with the Director of Operations and Emergency Preparedness to create, develop, and execute a strategic plan for annual giving and events as approved by the Foundation Finance Committee. Responsible and accountable for the completion and success of Foundation development and annual gala.
+ Responsible for managing Foundation events including logistics, volunteer committee, procurement, and data management.
+ Managing the Foundation website, email campaigns, direct mail marking and social media activity.
+ Responsible for managing the Staff and Physician Campaign. Annually establishes goals and recruits leadership and volunteers for the campaign. Trains, manages, assigns tasks and provides support for campaign volunteers.
+ Identifies, cultivates, solicits, recognizes and stewards individuals for annual and major gifts.
+ Works collaboratively with the EvergreenHealth accounting staff to ensure production, accuracy and timely finance reports. Ensures that each month the financials are closed in accordance with prescribed accounting best practices. Works as liaison to the Foundation bank and investment firm.
+ Responsible for processing donor acknowledgments, batching to ensure that all revenue is credited correctly and timely.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
