Our client, a leader in the logistics and materials handling industry, is seeking a Forklift Operator - Material Handler to join their team. As a Forklift Operator - Material Handler, you will be part of the operations team supporting efficient material flow and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Operator - Material Handler

Location: Poughkeepsie, NY

Pay Range: $17/hr

What's the Job?

• Perform a combination of tasks including receiving, filling, shipping, and inspecting orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Efficiently and safely load, unload, and convey materials.
• Ensure all materials are handled according to safety protocols and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.

What's Needed?

• No prior experience required; we welcome entry-level candidates.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (training provided).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Willingness to work Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, with rotating Saturdays from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
