Job Description
Develop and create new business opportunities
Organize, coordinate and implement sales strategies for all customer accounts will be essential.
Ensure profitable selling of Employer’s products.
Develop new customer in existing and new market applications.
Develop and implement approved market and sales strategies.
Provide feedback on any competitive market research and technology trends within all related industry segments.
Adhere to all standard administrative functions of the Employee’s area of responsibility that will be necessary to successfully perform job duties within the guidelines of Employer.
Prepare plans, budgets, reports, and any required analyses assigned by Employer in a timely fashion.
Participate in local, regional, and national trade shows that pertain to each industry serviced. Attendance at sales meetings and other organized company events will be required on a periodic basis.
Must be able to communicate with a polite and professional manner to all customer, company departments, staff, and management of Employer.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Requirements, Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university is required. Food Science, Grain Science or other related course of study is preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years sales experience with a value-added ingredient is preferred. Food Industry experience is desired.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required. Should be able to easily type emails in Outlook, set up Excel spreadsheets, create Word documents, and generate PowerPoint presentations.
Able to perform basic business math calculations
Ability to communicate effectively and maintain composure in a fast paced environment.
Able to work independently, have excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to prioritize multiple customer accounts, and flexible to adjust schedule as business needs warrant.
