Qualifications:
- Current hands-on CPR Certification.
- Serve Safe
- Must have a clear background screening.

This position is under the direct supervision of the Executive Director. This position is the department head for the food service staff. The food service director will be responsible for the preparing, cooking and serving of all meals. This position will also be responsible for ordering, receiving and storing all deliveries, including emergency supplies. This position also orders kitchen and cleaning supplies. This position is also responsible for placing perishable items into refrigerator/freezer if the cook or kitchen aids are not on hand. This position maintains kitchen equipment and the kitchen and dining areas in a clean and safe manner. This position has a food budget and must remain within this budget at all times. The food service director is required to identify cost savings in the kitchen. All directors and managers will report to the Executive Director when any inspector or official agency arrives at the property.
