We are Gateway Regional Medical Center. Our primary function is to offer continuous nursing, medical, and other health and social services on a 24-hour basis, under physician directed care and RN supervision.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follows Job Analysis/Food Production/Preparation: Maintains efficient meal preparation, service, and delivery to patients and other customers. Prepares and distributes food items to ensure proper quality, quantity, appearance, temperature and timeliness. Follows departmental policies and procedures.
- Completes all aspects of job analysis.
- Prepares food according to recipes.
- Food prepared to achieve good quality and presentation, including proper garnishes.
- Food prepared in proper quantities per production sheet guidelines.
- Temperatures maintained according to regulatory agencies.
- Food is produced and served at the proper temperatures.
- Uses appropriate items and stores properly.
- Assists in caterings.
- Completes food samples as required.
- Ensures sanitation pails are clean and filled.
- Prepares food items for next day, according to established menus.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Previous cook experience preferred.
- High School graduate or GED preferred.
