Look no further! Our client, a Food Manufacturing Company, is seeking an exceptional Food Safety and Quality Assurance Manager to lead their team.

Responsibilities:
- Quality Management: Oversee the implementation of the food safety and quality management system, ensuring compliance with SQF, GMPs, HACCP, and USDA regulations.
- Collaboration: Liaise with the USDA, maintenance, production, and plant management.
- Training: Mentor and coach plant personnel to enhance food safety practices.
- Problem-Solving: Tackle technical issues related to food safety and quality.
- Reports: Develop reports using Microsoft Office tools.
- Leadership: Delegate tasks to QA Techs and manage their schedules.
Requirements:
- Education: High School diploma (Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or Biology preferred)
- Experience: 5+ years in QA/Food Safety, including 3+ years in a supervisory role.
- Certifications: SQF Practitioner Certified, HACCP Certified, and Internal Auditing Training.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with beef, lamb, venison, bison, pork, or poultry processing.
- Regulatory Expertise: Experience with USDA regulations.
