Food Operations Manager 1 - Sodexo

Sodexo in partnership with a hospital system located in Montebello, CA is seeking a Food Operations Manager to manage the patient dining program focusing on patient satisfaction. 

What You'll Do:

• have oversight of day-to-day operations;
• deliver high quality food services including retail, catering and patient meal management operations;
• develop and maintain client and customer relationships (i.e., comfortable in c-suite settings where communication skills are imperative when serving as top level site management)
• develop strategic plans focusing on patient satisfaction;
• ensure HACCP, regulatory and standards compliance;
• create a positive environment; and/or
• ensure Sodexo standards are met.

What You Bring:

• work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively;
• the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
• working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management Systems (FMS) and Market Connections (MSC), and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
