Floorperson- California Games (Bell Gardens, CA.) - Fortiss LLC / Parkwest Casinos

Overview:

Parkwest Casino is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Floorperson- California Games representative to join our team and make a real difference in our guests experience! Guest service is of the utmost importance. We take pride in our guests and the service we give them on a daily basis. We hope that with your help we can reach the next level of customer service.

As a Floorperson for the California Games section you will be providing seating and service to customers; monitors dealers, and service performance.

Responsibilities:

1. As a Floorperson you generally are responsible for starting table games.

2. Authorized to assign service personnel within the section.

3. Explains seating policy and provides brief instructions to customers as needed.

4. Observe and report on all aspects of games, rules, procedures and check for any irregular activities.

5. Displays working knowledge of all games offered in the casino.

6. Displays working knowledge of Title 31 regulations.

7. Perform regular table touches, greeting guest and making self-available to dealers.

8. Assist in administering promotions. Works with Dealer Coordinators to start new games.

9. Displays knowledge of player/guest tendencies, habits and likes.

10. Anticipate the needs of player/guest; seats players at appropriate tables.

11. Runs checks to the Cage for players' chips.

12. Brings new decks of cards to the Dealers when requested

13. Will assist in taking names on the boards as needed. Keeps track of players waiting for seats to open in games.

14. Reports any irregularity or suspicious activity concerning the integrity of the game to the Shift Manager.

15. Stay on task - Stay in assigned area during shift, limit unnecessary non-work-related conversation, and fulfill all tasks in a timely manner.

16. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree (B.A.) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two to four years in a customer-service position or similar environment. At least one year experience as a Dealer preferred.
• Open availability to work any shift; Day, Swing or Graveyard, weekends and holidays.
• MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD!!!
• Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
• Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test, criminal background and credit check.
