Qualifications
• Proven 2+ years experience with knowledge of fire suppression systems, and related equipment
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to operate a computer, tablet and read electronic blueprints required
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues efficiently
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• NICET or State certification required
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work on a ladder
Responsibilities
• Join our team as a Fire Protection Service Technician and play a vital role in safeguarding lives and properties
• As a skilled technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire protection systems to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and the highest level of safety for our clients
• Perform routine inspections and testing of fire suppression systems, extinguishers, and other fire protection equipment
• Troubleshoot and diagnose system malfunctions, making necessary repairs and replacements to ensure optimal functionality
• Conduct preventive maintenance to prolong the lifespan of fire protection systems and minimize the risk of failures
• Document inspection and service activities accurately, maintaining detailed records of findings, repairs, and recommendations
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to coordinate service appointments and ensure timely completion of tasks
• Stay updated on industry regulations, codes, and best practices to ensure compliance and provide expert guidance to clients
• On-call rotation with other technicians to handle emergency service and inspection requests
