FINANCIAL SERVICES LITIGATION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

Our client, a top AmLaw 100 national law firm, is seeking a highly-qualified and motivated junior to mid-level Associate Attorney to join their Financial Services Litigation Practice Group in Kansas City. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled litigator to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment while handling sophisticated matters in the financial services sector.
Candidate Profile:
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- Active Missouri Bar Admission.
- 3+ years of substantive litigation experience in commercial real estate, distressed loans, debt and security instruments, or creditor and lender liability.
- Extensive legal writing experience, including drafting briefs, complaints, pretrial motions, memoranda, and discovery requests.
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills, with prior law firm or judicial clerkship experience preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in complex financial services litigation matters involving commercial real estate and loan-related disputes.
- Draft high-quality legal documents, including motions, briefs, and discovery materials.
- Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys to develop case strategy and execute high-stakes litigation.
- Engage in direct client interactions, offering guidance and solutions in a fast-paced environment.
