Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting Manager
SUMMARY:
Aeroseal is looking for a Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting Manager that will assist us in our mission by performing technical reviews on Company transactions, evaluating processes for proper internal controls and efficiencies and implement improvements, and preparing financial reporting.
The individual must drive high accountability for accurate and timely financial reporting with a focus towards process optimization and internal control to support the business growth. The individual must be able to work with all levels of the organization and effectively collaborate across multiple departments.
Specific current initiatives where this role will be a key driver:
- Review of acquisitions and support of accounting and reporting requirements;
- Proper accounting for revenue recognition, stock transactions and other areas of complex accounting;
- Consolidated financial reporting;
- Support of audit, tax and treasury requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Minimum 5 years experience in accounting including minimum of 3 years in a public accounting firm
- Highly skilled and current knowledge of US GAAP
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- A proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and to build strong working relationships
- Demonstrable leadership ability and experience building and working with high-performing teams
- Experience with financial systems (NetSuite experience is a plus)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the preparation of financial statements, footnote disclosures, and statement of cash flows in support of the Company's efforts to mature its accounting and disclosure standards.
- Involvement with equity and stock-based compensation accounting; responsible for statement of stockholder's equity preparation
- Assist in the preparation and review of international entity financial statements
- Assist with purchase accounting for acquisitions
- Research and provide technical accounting advice to the accounting department and finance organization
- Assess risk and assist in the creation of effective internal controls as needed over accounting and financial reporting
- Develop new policies as needed and analyze the impact of changes to historical periods and related impacts on financial disclosures
- Assist with other special projects as needed.

The estimated pay range for this role is $100,000 to $130,000. Actual pay is based on various factors including, but not limited to, the successful candidate's experience, skills, knowledge, and job location. Please note that the compensation details listed in role postings reflect the base salary and do not include bonuses or benefits.
