Job Details

We are a dynamic, fast-paced organization seeking a Permanent Financial Reporting Accountant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional who thrives in a challenging, rewarding environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing internal and external financial reporting, including Form 10-K and 10-Q, and will have an in-depth understanding of US GAAP accounting principles. This role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and professionalism.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting required; CPA license or master’s degree a plus.
2+ years of experience in financial reporting and general ledger accounting.
Strong understanding of US GAAP accounting principles.
Experience with SEC filings, including Form 10-K and 10-Q.
Must have knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Act requirements.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
Strong problem-solving and analysis skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficient in Oracle and Workiva or equivalent financial software.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
Assist in the preparation of SEC filings, including Form 10-K and 10-Q.
Prepare balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows.
Maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
Collaborate with the other finance department managers to support overall department goals and objectives.
Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Advise staff regarding the handling of non-routine reporting transactions.
Respond to inquiries from the director of finance, and other finance and firm-wide managers regarding financial results, special reporting requests, etc.
Work with the controller to ensure a clean and timely year-end audit.
Support budget and forecasting activities.
Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
Interact at all levels of the organization to lead and support financial and operational initiatives.
Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act requirements.
