About the role
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial concepts including valuation, budgeting, and three-statement cashflows. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on various financial projects at both a corporate and project level to contribute to the development of sustainable resource recovery infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for updating and maintaining both enterprise-level and project-level models.
- Evaluate and model new investment opportunities with specific emphasis on meeting target return hurdles such as IRR, etc.
- Perform variance analysis, tracking expenditures vs. budget for existing projects.
- Prepare presentations and reporting packages for stakeholders (equity partners, lenders, etc.)
- Evaluate and provide due diligence support for A&D opportunities.
- Mine ERP data and create ad hoc analysis as needed and requested.
- Conduct industry research / track and report on peer valuations and activities.
- Perform credit research/analysis of potential clients.
- Track and utilize historical data to help establish benchmarks for financial processes and credit analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance
- 5-10 Years of Experience in the field
- Strong analytical skills
- Excel Expert
- Skilled at creation of highly flexible and dynamic three-statement financial models
- Knowledgeable about extraction of data from ERP systems
- Experience with capital markets.
- Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
- Great work ethic.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $135,000 per year
